The museum holds holiday art sales, artist lectures, summer art workshops, artist-in-residence programs and other related events.

Balboa Island Museum and Historical Society

Discover all kinds of captivating and remarkable facts about Balboa Island at the Balboa Island Museum and Historical Society. Artifacts and memorabilia on display include classic photographs that chronicle the island’s interesting history. The museum is located inside a charming vintage cottage in the area known as Main Street. It has a store where you can purchase exclusive merchandise that represents the area’s history.

Heroes Hall

The Heroes Hall includes over 3,600 square feet of exhibition space. It also has a garden, veterans memorial courtyard and outdoor mini amphitheater. The building was constructed in 1942 and functioned as barracks and training center during World War II. It was scheduled for demolition but was moved to its current location and transformed into a museum in order to honor Orange County veterans.
